Why can’t I find
That one special guy?
That one guy who’s kind,
And makes my heart fly.
I wonder if he’s out there,
Also searching for that somebody,
Or is he right here
Sitting next to me?
Many girls have been kissed
By their boyfriend, so dear.
I don’t know what I’ve missed
Since I’ve never had one, I fear.
There is a special time and place
Where I’d meet my one true love,
And at that moment we will meet face to face.
Truly, God sent him from above.
