I never thought I’d have to say goodbye.
All I can do is sit and cry.
Why did you have to go away?
How am I supposed to live day by day?
Your hugs made me feel safe and warm,
And you always kept me safe from harm.
I wish you didn’t have to go.
The reason why I’ll never know.
Anne you showed me so much love.
Now you have been called up above.
I will never forget your laugh, smile, or kiss.
Everything about you I will miss.
Anne, please don’t worry about me.
I promise to make you proud. You’ll see.
I know I’ll get to see you again,
When the Good Lord calls me to Heaven.
